A learner from Eden College Lyndhurst is excited to show off his magical skills at the Fairmount Bowling Club while supporting a good cause.
The Bedfordview Lions Club invited 18-year-old Doron Itzhak Lubie to perform her magic tricks on October 30 at 2:00 p.m. to help raise funds for children with cancer.
Founded in 1917, Lions Clubs International is the world’s largest service club organization. The club is best known for fighting blindness. He also volunteers for many types of community projects, including protecting the environment, feeding the hungry, and helping the elderly and people with disabilities.
Lubie has captivated audiences with her magic for seven years and has performed on several major stages, such as South African’s Got Talent and Arnold Talent Show, as well as at children’s parties. Doron is still in grade 11, but he can’t wait to travel the world to do some magic after high school.
Doron expressed her enthusiasm and pride in performing in front of large audiences at the Bowling Club. “I feel very excited and proud to have the opportunity to hopefully have the chance to perform in front of a large audience,” he said.
“It will be a real ‘wow’ show because I will be playing magical illusions that I acquired years ago, but didn’t have the knowledge to play until I was older.”
Besides the entertainment, there will be a flea market with plenty of food available during the event. The Bedfordview Lions encourage anyone wishing to perform at the event to call them on 062 440 3126 to reserve a seat. Half of the money raised during the event will be allocated to the participants and the organization.
Doron is available to perform at children’s birthday parties, weddings, corporate events, and other types of events. People can email him on [email protected] or call 074 727 1294.
